2010 NDNGA Convention Award Winners

Best Booth—First Place

Alta Falls was back in the winner's circle taking top honors in the best booth awards and receiving a $30.00 gift certificate.

Best Booth—Second Place

Adam Eull and Carlin Sales took home the second place honors and a $25.00 gift certificate

Best Booth—Third Place

Tammy Melcher and the Bluebird Nursery booth received third place honors and a $20.00 gift certificate.

Scholarship Winners

This Year’s winner of the Harry C. Baker Scholarship at NDSU is Kelsey Zimprich.  She is a Sophomore at NDSU majoring in Horticulture with the option of Urban Parks and Forestry.  Kelsey will be the first in her family of eight to complete a college degree and expressed her thanks for receiving the scholarship.

Amy Omlid is the winner of the Nicholas N. Boehm Scholarship at Dakota College-Bottineau.  Amy, from Williston, is a member of the National Guard and has served two tours in Iraq.  Amy’s interests are in Landscape Design and Greenhouse. 

Auctioneers Dean Tvedt and Terry Babler of Babler Auction Service made the Scholarship Auction a great fun event!
